Latest Work

Just thought I would post some pictures of one of my latest pieces. There are before and after pictures so you can see how the pieces look when they are just laid out, wet out and when felted. This piece was made using a shawl sized piece of the canyon scarf kit. This one didn't get any other materials added in other than the ones I put in the scarf kits. I think it came out beautifully! It is done in the "hearts entwined" pattern -- just overlapping circles for the most part. Fun and easy!

  1. Aww, thanks! It is just lightweight silk, fine wool and silk and bamboo roving to decorate the piece.

  2. You say "JUST" but after taking a nuno felting class, I learned just enough to REALLY appreciate all the work that goes into this. Beautiful!!

  3. Hi Laurie, So glad you've jumped into the world of nuno! I do use the sander to replace rolling most of the time on these larger pieces. It makes things so much easier!
